ERDI has opened Novotel St Kilda marking a new era for one of Melbourne’s most iconic beachside destinations.

“This is a significant moment for ERDI and the begin, ning of an exciting new chapter for this landmark St Kilda property,” ERDI CEO and executive director Ricky Jeffs said. “This transformation represents a significant investment in both the hotel and the future of this iconic location.”

Novotel St Kilda, with strengthens ERDI’s partnership with Accor, represents a significant commitment to the future of St Kilda as the anchor hotel investment within the $196 million St Kilda Collective renewal of Fitzroy Street.

The hotel features 80 redesigned rooms and suites, a light-filled garden atrium, new meeting and events spaces, and the launch of Urban Kitchen & Bar, an all-day dining destination centred around a Verona-imported wood-fired oven and a wine list dedicated to Victorian producers. FORUM Studio, the VERSA team, and the Dezign team have helped shape the new look and feel of the property.

Novotel St Kilda general manager Christos Pavlidis will lead the hotel. He brings more than 25 years of hospitality and pre-opening experience to the role.

Novotel St Kilda is the latest addition to ERDI’s Victorian hotel portfolio, joining Pullman Melbourne City Centre, Novotel Geelong and Mercure Melbourne City Centre.
