Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is offering access to even more awe-inspiring activations across its global portfolio through its expanded ‘Special Happens…’ experiences program.

Fairmont has introduced eight ‘Special Happens…’ experiences across four categories: After Dark, In the Spotlight, Around the Table, and In the Wild.

Special Happens… After Dark

• Fairmont Tokyo transforms its hidden listening bar OFF RECORD into a private space for one evening, guiding guests through four chapters of music – J-Pop, UK Rock, Reggae and American Soul – each paired with a cocktail and story from a Tokyo-based DJ.
• Fairmont Mayakoba takes guests into an ancient cenote for Symphony in a Cenote, a candlelit descent into a live musical performance amplified by the cavern’s acoustics, followed by canapés and Champagne. The one-off event runs on 30 October 2026.

Special Happens… In the Spotlight

• Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi offers Karam: A Journey of Emirati Hospitality, a full-day immersion that takes guests to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque before they join Chef Muna Al Mansoori in the kitchen and dine at Mazaj overlooking Khor Al Maqta.
• Fairmont El San Juan Hotel invites guests to perform live alongside a band at Chico Cabaret through The Grand Performance Experience Stay, drawing on the property’s history as a haunt of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Liza Minnelli.
• Fairmont Golden Prague has partnered with music club dopeYEAH to deliver The Ultimate Curated Music Experience, an individually tailored program of intimate concerts and artist encounters set among a private collection of radios, jukeboxes and music memorabilia.

Special Happens… Around the Table

• Fairmont Quasar Istanbul leads guests through The Spice Route after the Spice Bazaar closes to the public, pairing a guided five-century history of the spice trade with a private chef-led tasting dinner at Aila.
• Fairmont Copley Plaza hosts its annual Holiday Bacchanal Dinner, turning the hotel’s historic Boston lobby into a Bacchus-themed celebration with a five-course meal and wine pairings.

Special Happens… In the Wild

• Finally, Fairmont Tremblant delivers Beyond the Slopes, a private ski escape featuring chauffeured Cadillac transfers, First Tracks access 40 minutes ahead of the public, and an overnight stay in the property’s new Presidential Suite with a private in-suite dinner and breakfast at Le Comptoir.
