Hipcamp has announced the winners of its 2026 Australia Awards, recognising the campsites its community rated most highly over the past year.
The winners span creekside caravan sites, working farms, waterfall camps and off-grid cabins. To pick them, Hipcamp analysed a year of booking, rating and review data from its network of more than eight million users across more than 60,000 Australian campsites. All lists are unranked.
“These awards are really about celebrating the Hosts who make great camping possible,” said Hipcamp CEO and founder Alyssa Ravasio.
“There’s so much care behind the places people discover on Hipcamp, and our annual Awards give us a chance to recognise the Hosts who go the extra mile. Camping season is just getting started, so hopefully this year’s winners spark a few ideas, help campers find somewhere new, and get more people outside.”

Among this year’s winners: Willowbank in New South Wales, a multigenerational cattle property with private camps along the Karuah River; Hidden Pocket on the Mary in Queensland, offering riverside spots and complimentary kayaks; Galea Ranch in Victoria, a family-run property beneath the Cathedral Ranges; Ladybug Camping in Tasmania, with creekside sites and cascading waterfalls; and Jarvis Estate Winery in Western Australia, offering vineyard camping near Margaret River.
