All Nippon Airways (ANA) has released a new promotional fare offer, the “Hello Blue Sale”, with economy class return fares from Sydney and Perth to Tokyo starting at A$1,388, including all taxes and fees.

The sale is open for booking from 9–15 September 2026, for travel between 1 October and 30 November 2026, and again between 1 February and 30 June 2027. Seat availability will vary by date and a number of blackout periods apply.

Fares are quoted for Sydney or Perth to Tokyo return, with the Sydney fare carrying fare basis KFA9TQ0K and the Perth fare KFA9TQ1K, both in K booking class.

The promotion includes a free domestic side trip within Japan, permitting up to two sectors to or from Tokyo in economy class, though Japan domestic taxes still apply. Open jaw itineraries are permitted, and the side trip must be booked and ticketed in conjunction with the international fare. Eligible Japan destinations extend well beyond Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo and Okinawa to a long list of regional airports including Hiroshima, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Toyama, Komatsu and Akita, among others.

Passengers are entitled to one piece of free checked baggage, two free stopovers and two free transfers, with one permitted in each direction in Tokyo. Minimum stay is three days and maximum stay one month.

The fares are non-changeable and non-refundable, including in the case of no-shows.

Blackout dates apply as follows:

• Sydney to Tokyo Haneda (NH890/NH880): 1-4 October 2026, 1–16 April 2027, 3–10 May 2027
• Tokyo Haneda to Sydney (NH889/NH879): 3-15 October 2026, 1–8 February 2027, 19 April – 2 May 2027
• Perth to Tokyo Narita (NH882): 19 March – 17 April 2027
• Tokyo Narita to Perth (NH881): 5-17 October 2026, 1-7 February 2027, 16 April – 1 May 2027

Children aged two to 11 years, whether accompanied or unaccompanied, are not entitled to a discount. Infants under two years without a seat are charged 10 per cent of the adult fare, while infants under two with a seat receive no discount.
